Where are Movie Halls for Those Who Love Nepali Movies?

The number of movie halls in the country is increasing day by day. Many multiplexes are built and are being built in the capital as well as in mofasal. It is believed that the number of audiences of Nepali movies will also increase as a result of increase in the number of cinema halls.

Actress Rekha Thapa recently in an interview said that films would run successfully if the number of halls increases in this manner. She added one of the major reasons for films not being successful is the condition of theatres in the country. The bad picture quality, satisfactory seats, messy halls disappoint the audiences.

But legendary artist and director Nir Shah kept his opinion in a different manner. He said that the actual Nepali movie audiences are in village areas. So, he believes that film halls should be built in places near to villages like suburbs, semi-towns, etc.
