Friday Release: 'Maruni' in Cinema Halls

Film 'Maruni' which was giving its best in promotion activities has finally released. The film has released solo in the Nepali movie market. There occurs a clash between the release of two to five Nepali movies in a week. But Maruni has got the opportunity of solo release. But it has clashed with one of the most awaited South Indian film 'Saaho' because of which Maruni had got a few shows in multiplexes. 

The movie had 70% occupancy at the opening.

The film is based on a love-triangle story and is directed by Nawal Nepal.

Likewise, it is made under the banner of Punam Entertainment. It is produced by Punam Gautam herself whereas Darshana KC, Mina Kshetri and Raja Pradhan are the co-producers. The actors in the film include Pushpa Khadka, Samragyee RL Shah, Rebika Gurung, Sunisha Chhetri, Arun Raj, Ayush Pradhan, Shankar Sedhai, Sayara Acharya, Avash Singh, Swarnim Poudel and Saurya Adhikari.
