Akash Adhikari Receives 'Prabal Janasewa Shree' Award

Film director, artist, and the president of Film Producer's Association Mr Akash Adhikari got rewarded for his endless efforts in the Nepali movie industry marking his silver jubilee (25 years) in the field.  He received 'Prabal Janasewa Shree' Award from Honourable President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on Sunday.

Similarly, the founder General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party Late Pushpalal Shrestha got honoured by 'Nepal Ratna'. The award was received by Umeshlal Shrestha on behalf of his father Pushpalal Shrestha. Likewise, the president awarded Late Ambar Gurung for his contributions in the music field of the country. Furthermore, literateur of the century Satya Mohan Joshi was awarded 'Maha Ujjwal Rastra Dip' (First Class). 

Moreover, former chief justice Om Prakash Mishra received 'Prabal Janasewa Shree' (First Class) whereas literateur Dinesh Hari Adhikari, late singer & actor Hari Prasad Rimal. and historian PhD. Dinesh Raj Panta received 'Sukirtimaya Rastra Dip' (Third Class).

96 different people from various fields received 'Suprabal Janasewa Shree' (Third Class), literateur Jhamak Kumari Ghimire received 'Kirtimaya Rastra Dip' (Fourth Class), 162 people were honoured 'Prabal Janasewa Shree' (Fourth Class), and 74 people got 'Janasewa Shree' (Fifth Class).

The awards were honoured to people making great efforts on their respective fields as mentioned on last year's constitution day. The programme had the presence of the vice-president, the Prime Minister, the speaker of parliament, the president of National Assembly, the vice-president, ministers, the heads of constitutional bodies, senior workers, and heads of Security bodies.
