Rekha Thapa and Laya Sangraula receive 'Haritara Film Award'

Actors Rekha Thapa and Laya Sangraula have received the ‘Haritara Film Awards’. The award carries a purse of NRs 25,000. The decision to provide the award to the duo came after a recent meeting of the award committee, headed by Chairperson Manoj Raj Sumsher.
Thapa was honored for her role in social transformation through a decade and half long career in acting, production and direction. Similarly, Sangraula was honored for a three decade long career in acting and direction.
