Rekha to support 'Teach Daughter, Save Daughter' campaign

Actor/Director Rekha Thapa has pledged her support to the ‘Teach Daughter, Save Daughter’ campaign. The campaign is run by the Government of Province 2. She organized a press meet on Tuesday at the office of Province 2 Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut and informed that she will be directly involved with the campaign.

Thapa has recently been involved in other social campaigns too, like the ‘Golden Nepal for Daughters’ campaign, which she ran together with life coach Nar Bahadur Karki. Her latest directorial venture ‘Malika’ was based on the subject of child marriage, rape and dowry system. Before that, she had made ‘Rudrapriya’, which was based on the subject of acid attack on women.
