Aamir Khan apologizes with audience for giving a flop

Actor Aamir Khan has apologized with the audiences for the debacle of his recent movie ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. It was a rare flop from the otherwise bankable star. The film, which was released during the Tihar festival, was made on a budget of 2,500 million rupees but collected just 1,250 million rupees at the box office.

‘I am very sorry with the audiences for not meeting their expectations. I apologize for not being able to entertain them’, he said. ‘I take full responsibility for the failure of the film. I apologize that the film was not what it promised the audience to be’, he added. He said that there were mistakes in the making of the film. He also pointed to the fact that some people have liked the film very much.

The film was directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and also featured Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif apart from Khan.
