Two month early release for 'Gopi'

The release date of upcoming film ‘Gopi’ has been preponed by two months. The film, which has seen a number of its cast members being in and out of the project, will now release on the 29th of January next year. It was earlier scheduled to release on the 29th of March next year.

The production team has informed that they are moving the movie release date to accommodate for competition from other movies. Finding a suitable release date is a tough task for new Nepali movies because the number of film production is up on the domestic market and Nepali movies also have to complete for theatres with Bollywood movies. The film is being directed by Dipendra Lama, who previously directed ‘Gham Pani’. Barsha Raut, Bipin Karki and Suraksha Panta are among the lead actors in the movie.
