'Malika' charity show starts from Dhading

The charity show of Rekha Thapa’s upcoming directorial venture ‘Malika’ has started from Dhading. Rekha reached Dhading on Tuesday and took part in the charity show. The charity show was organised at the efforts of ‘Choriko Lagi Swarnim Nepal’ or ‘Golden Nepal for Daughters’ movement, of which Rekha is one of the founders.

She informed that the charity show of the movie will be done in all parts of the country where there are no proper facility of cinema halls. ‘I will take this film to even the most remotest part of Nepal. This film is a must watch for all parents, children and general audience’, she added.

The film is based on the subject of child rape and sexual violence against women. It features newcomer Kamala Oli, a girl who had not even seen a television in her life previously, in lead role alongside the director herself.
