In a recent interview with an online news portal actress Keki Adhikari has said that the practice of moving abroad after a few years of hogging limelight in the industry is a bad thing. She said that the act of using film sector as a stepping stone into the journey abroad proves that the artist was not committed to the industry in the first place and he/her had never kept movie in top priority.

‘Such act is hugely unprofessional and gives rise to substandard performances’, said the actor.  She acknowledged that it is a compulsion of actors because of the state of the industry but also said that she herself has no ‘green card’ plans. ‘I commit myself in the industry for the foreseeable future’, said the actress.
