Director/Actor Akash Adhikari's “Flame of Hope Nepal” has built a Kalidevi Primary School at Sankhu 8, Laltipur and has handed over the school to that particular village. The school was handed over to Chairman of the Committee Administration Lal Bahadur Ghising by Information and Communication Minister Dr. Minendra Rijal on Saturday. During the commencement, actor/director Akash Adhikari handed over the sample picture of the primary school to Information and Communication Minister Dr. Minendra Rijal. Likewise, Global Reach International has financial supported the construction of this primary school.

During the handover ceremony, Information and Communication Minister Dr. Minendra Rijal praised about the Nepalese artistes for their huge aid and contribution during and after the tremor. He stated, “We government only cannot do everything. To live happily every single person contribution is needed. Organization and benevolent people have created Nepal today. Likewise, the contribution made by Akash and his NGO “Flame of Hope Nepal” is respectable”. Correspondingly Akash expressed that with the help of his family friends and colleague, he has been able to build the school for the children. He said, “When I came to this place, I thought building a school would be a very decent thought”. He has also informed that as soon as the monsoon season is over, he’s NGO “Flame of Hope Nepal” would be building twenty Primary School in Rasuwa village. During the tremor, Akash and his NGO had distributed relief materials to different affected districts of Nepal and even organized a health campaign for earthquake victims.

The former chairman of the Committee Administration Krishna Man Lama has expressed his gratefulness for building the school in the Magar village. He said, “The school has been established, now it would be great if library would also have been set up”. He also articulated that because of the tremor every house, school and farmhouse has been destroyed in the village. The principal Gal Bahadaur Lama has informed that the school is divided into 5 years of primary education where almost seventy students would be studying. The elected constituent assembly member Uday Shumsher Jung Bahadur also expressed his thankfulness.

In the handover ceremony of the primary school with Actor/Director Akash Adhikari and Information and Communication Minister Dr. Minendra Rijal other artistes were also present in the program. New artist, Aryan Adhikari and Mariska Pokharel (for the upcoming movie of actor/director Akash), producer Suresh Adhikari, Financial Manager of the NGO “Flame of Hope Nepal” Madhu Chettri, Actor Shiva Shrestha, Comedian artist Deepa Shree Niraula and Kedar Ghimire aka “Magne Buda” and media personalities were present in the program. Deepa and Kedar presented their humor to the people. The resident of the village provided flowers, garland and red powder colours to the artistes.
