A foundation “Shree Krishna Shrestha Memorial Foundation” was established in the remembrance of the late actor Shree Krishna Shrestha and that foundation has awarded two great personality of Nepal film industry during the first death anniversary of the late actor Shree Krishna Shrestha. The foundation has awarded “After Death Special Honor” to Late director Shiva Regmi and Actor Shiva Shrestha was awarded with “Shree Krishna Shrestha Memorial Honor”.

With the honor Late Director Shiva Regmi was bestowed with Rs. 51,000 and Actor Shiva Shrestha was bestowed with Rs, 1, 11,111 by the foundation. The honor was distributed by Information and Communication Minister Dr. Minendra Rijal. The honor for Late director Shiva Regmi was handed over to his wife whereas Actor Shiva Shrestha was present in the program. Actor Shree Krishna Shrestha died at the age of 47 in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi on 10th August 2014 last year. Many actor, actress and artist attended the program. Nir Shah, Yadav Kharel, Shambhu Jeet Baskota, Saroj Khanal, Krishna Malla and other artist were present in the program.

In the program a video was screened in the tribute of actor Shree Krishna Shrestha. And that video made everyone emotional. Wife of Shree Krishna Shrestha was seen weepy and emotional while watching the video. The video included, “How do you remember actor Shree Krishna Shrestha”? And many artist had expressed their sentiments toward it. The last movie of the late actor Shree Krishna Shrestha “Kohinoor” director Akash Adhikari stated that every post ticket should have Late Actor Shree Krishna Picture and the entire statue of actor should be built with the support of the government.

Similarly, actress Shweta Khadka conveyed that she would love to walk in her husband footsteps. With eyes full of tears, she encouraged her family members, friends and colleagues to move ahead. Likewise, Late Director Shiva Regmi wife encouraged Shweta to forge ahead in the life. In the program, a book “Amar Nayak Ko Samjhana” (Eternal Actor’s Reminiscence) penned by Shyam Smrit was inaugurated. The inauguration of the book was done by Information and Communication Minister Dr. Minendra Rijal, Actress Shweta Khadka and Late Actor Shree Krishna Shrestha’s mother. Actor Shree Krishna Shrestha passed away exactly after a month of his marriage.
