An award ceremony “Nepal Television Award 2072” was conducted by Television Artist Forum on July 12th 2015 at Nepal Pragya Prathisthan Bhawan, Kamaldai. Correspondingly the chief guest of the award ceremony was Communication and Information Minister Minendra Rijal and President of the Television Artist Forum Deepa Shree Niraula. The ceremony was held to distribute National Television Award 2072 to the TV programs and their producers. 

Actor cum producer cum director Nir Shah was honored by the Lifetime Achievement Award and was also bestowed with Rs. 1, 11,111. Organizing the special program here in Kathmandu Forum has felicitated with the National Television Award 2072 to various Nir Shah from the hand of Minister for Communication and Information’s Minister Minendra Rijal. The award ceremony was sponsored by Nepal Film Development Board, Nepal Telecom, Media Hub Pvt. Ltd and other organizations. 

Other artists honored in the ceremony with Special Contribution honor include Prem Baniya, Grishma Raj Bhandari, Arati Chataut, Som Dhital, Bhushan Dahal, RK Manandhar, KC Creation, Parijat Creation, Aama Saraswati Movies, Rajatpat, and Krishna Dhungana.Various personnel including FDB chief Raj Kumar Rai, MaHa (Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bamsha Acharya) and television and Nepali film artists were present in the ceremony. 



Likewise, actor Jeetu Nepal and Deepak Raj Giri presented their hilarious act to entertain their spectators. And other artist like Krishna Malla, Saroj Khanal, Ganesh Upreti, Niru Khadka, Shankar B.C., Indira Joshi, Pashupati Sharma, Hemanta Sharma and others presented their act.
