Due to the massive tremor the upcoming movie “Chanke Phanke Shanke” has postponed its release date from May 15th 2015 to another new date. According to the information provided by the movie director Sudarshan Thapa, the movie is scheduled to be released on the auspicious day of phulpati i.e. October 20th 2015 in suburb area whereas the movie will be displayed from October 23rd 2015 in Kathmandu. 

The movie is a typical Nepali comedy which is related to the current situation of the country.  In this new release date of the movie “Chanke Phanke Shanke” another movie “Ram-Pyari” is scheduled to be released but because of the tremor the shooting of the movie has been halted. Similarly, actor Bhuwan K.C. directed movie “Dreams” is also scheduled to be released on the same date but only 15% shooting of the movie has been completed. So, if the shooting is not completed, then the release date of this movie is also sure to be postponed. Likewise, Gorkha Paltan Director Narayan Rajamajhi directed movie “Pardeshi” and another movie produced by Gopi Krishna movie “Thamel” is also set to be released on the same date. When asked to “Chanke Phanke Shanke” director Sudarshan Thapa why did he chose the auspicious day phulapti to release his movie, he replied, “ I’m standing here today because of my first movie mero euta saathi cha which was also released during the festival time of Dashain, therefore, I have chosen this date to release my movie.”

The movie “Mero Euta Saathi Cha” was released five years ago, which was a super hit movie. The film co-starred Aryan Sigdel and Namrata Shrestha in the lead roles. Along with the director Sudarshan Thapa, Choreographer Renisha Rai, Cinematographer Rajesh Shrestha, Editor Surendra Poudel and Musician/Singer Sugam Pokharel gained success.
