Many Nepelase artist have distributed relief funds and aterial to the earthquake vicitms. The earthquake of 7.8 magnitude took place on April 25th 2015 killing over 7000 people and injuring people. Many peole have lost their family, lives and households. Similarly, one duo from our nepalese artist Sita Ram Katel aka Dhurmus and Suntali aka Kunjana Ghimire have distributed relief material to earthquake victims of Sindhupalchok, Nuwakot, lalitpur, Kavrepalanchowk and Dhading. 

In a statement released on April 26, Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus), Kunjana Ghimire (Suntali), Pramod Kharel, Pashupati Sharma and Sangita Thapa Magar returned back to Nepal on Saturday to help earthquake victims. Because of the devastating earthquake of April 24, the Nepali artists were in the USA for cultural shows but returned back on May 2. According to Sitaram Kattel aka Dhurmus and Kunjana Ghimire aka Suntali have told that they were saddened by the crisis and they didn't feel like performing the shows.

The comedian actors who are also real life husband and wife has collected 16 lakh Rupees and has returned back to the nation. This said it was a really difficult time and every people of the nation should stand and help one another. In this rough and tough time people need to show their true humanity and  Comedian actor said, "We have been seeing our Nepali brother and sister helping financially a lot in this hard time. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake that stroke on last Saturday destroyed all our physical properties and our cultural heritage site and left millions o Nepalese homeless and helpless." In this hard time the duo has tried to help as much as they can from their side.

 
Sitaram Kattel expressed, "I know the feeling when one does not get food to eat. I know how it feels to be born in a poor family. It's everyone responsibility to help people in need. Therefore I've been distributing relief material to the vicitms." The duo is helping with the team of tele series "Meri Bassai" and "Bhadragol".
