The film “Ajhai Pani” and the production company “Poonam Entertainment” have awarded 9 successful woman from various sectors. Information and Communication Minister Dr. Minendra Rijal and Ministry of Energy Radha Gyawali appeared as a chief guest and awarded nine successful woman with appreciation certificate and Khada (shawl) at the program which was organized on Monday. 

Actress Gauri Malla, Dr. Sudeshna Shrestha, Fashion designer Saulja Adhikari, Information Commission Commissioner Yeshoda Timsina, Education (section) Kumud Bhatta Chattkauli, Environmental (sector) Sarita Gyawali, Beautician Rashimla Shrestha, Politics (sector) Srijana Adhikari and Banker Pabitra Limbu were awarded with appreciation. All the 9 woman’s have wished for the success of the movie “Ajhai Pani”. 

 

Information and Communication Minister Dr. Minendra Rijal appraised the film “Ajhai Pani” as crucial and respectable. Similarly, Ministry of Energy Radha Gyawali conveyed a positive view towards the movie relating to woman empowerment and said she will cooperate this in every day practice.  

 

The producer of the movie “Ajhai Pani” Poonam Gautam informed that the movie tells a story of a woman. The award was given to 9 woman because the movie was related to Woman Empowerment. Women from all different sectors was staged on the same platform which was an effective approach to the film industry. 

Announcement of “Trust Alok” establishment   

In the same program it has been announced that “Trust Alok” will be established in the tribute of late director Alok Nembang. According to the producer Poonam Gautam Late Alok Nembang’s mother would be the chairperson of the trust. The trust shall be under the sentinel of the production company “Poonam Entertainment”. The first program of the trust has also been declared. In the future Poonam has organized an honorable program to appreciate first music video director Shambhu jit Baskota. Alok Nembang has almost released 800 music videos and three Nepali Movies. Similarly “Ajhai Pani” was his last movie.  

 

The film “Ajhai Pani” is being produced under the banner of Sudarshan Thapa Production and Poonam Entertainment which is set to be released on February 27th 2015.  The film costars Sudarshan Thapa, Puja Sharma, Bijaya Lama, Pramila Khanal, Bipana Dhimal, Mithila Sharma, Ram Sharan Pathak, Puspa Khada, Bishal Dhungana in the lead roles. 

The script of the film “Ajhai Pani” is penned by Ram Sharan Pathak whereas the shooting of the film is done by Rajesh Shrestha while the editing of the movie is done by Pritam Pandey. The music of the film is composed by Mahesh Khadka, Hari Lamsal, Rajan Raj Siwakoti, and Sachin Singh whilst the action director is Asta Maharjan.
