A Bharatnatyam solo dance presented by Matina Manadar was organized on Saturday in a “Sarbanam” drama house. A massive number of spectators came to see her dance and was fascinated with her performance. It has been informed that Matina would do more different performance in future with the support and encouragement of audience. 

The Bharatnatyam Dance was originated in temples of Tamil Nadu and lord shiva is considered the god of this dance.It is one of the eighth kind of Indian classical dance which is performed by all the male and female dancer all over the world. It is also names as sadir, Nauch, Adal, Kothu and Dashi. The program lasted around an hour with five dances (Pushpanjali, Bhajan, V-Shambho,Divya Prabandham and tilana) that Matina staged. 

At the end of the program Matina was praised with “MuktaKantha” by the senior drama artist Hanni Shrestha. The director of Sarbanam Drama house Ashosh Malla presented Matina with honorable certificate and Khada (Shawl). Senior artist Yadav Kharel, Actor/Director Akash Adhiakri, made their appearence to watch Matina performance on Saturday.
