The occasion of “Swastani Mela” is being organized in Salinadhi, Sankhu Kathmandu and on this auspicious occasion the famous film “Jhola” is being displayed and is appreciated by the spectators. The mela is going to last for a month and the movie “Jhola” is also being displayed for a month since the story of Swasthani and the film Jhola tells the chronicle of a women.

The mela was started on January 5th 2015 and the movie “Jhola” was also displayed on the same date. At the very first day the presence of spectator were very few compare to the last four days since every show was houseful. The demand for this movie is increasing day by day and the moving is being displayed 5 times a day as people are being keen to this movie. “The desire and the eagerness of the audience is increasing day by day”, said by the producer Sushil Shah. He further added “It’s a huge privilege to show a movie which is hundred years old and it'sgreat to see our viewer’s interest and love towards it”.

On Saturday the director of the movie “Jhola” Yadav Kumar Bhattarai, producer Divya Timilsina, co-producer Ram Gopal Thapa and child artist Sujal Nepal also went up to Salinadi and watched the movie. The Artist Sujal Nepal was admired by many people and many people got chance to take a picture with him. The entire unit of the film has decided to invite Actress Garima Pant and Patriotic artist Khanal on January 15th 2015.

The film “Jhola” screen has been constructed by the bamboo which has the capacity of 500 people at a time. The entire unit of the movie has displayed this movie on the special occasion of “Swastani Mela”. They have expected that around sixty thousand people will watch their movie.  “Every year, nearly 30 million people appear in this fair”, said by the organizational committee. 

The film “Jhola” is based on a story of sati pratha which has been prepared by poet Krishna Dharabashi. The Oscar nominated movie “Jhola” was a success in a box office.
