First poster of ‘Habaldar Suntali’ released

While actress Shilpa Pokharel’s debut film ‘Lajja’ is creating waves in the theaters currently, the first poster of her second film, ‘Habaldar Suntali’ has been released.

The film, produced by Chabi Raj Ohja and presented by his Chabi Raj Productions, stars Shilpa in the title role. She has been accompanied by actors Sabin Shresth and Kishor Khatiwda in the lead roles.

‘Habaldar Suntali’, directed by Rishi Lamichane is said to be based on true incidents. The film is believed to tell the story of police-women Suntali Dhami, who was sexually assaulted by her own colleagues.  

The film, which is currently in its post production stage, is scheduled to be released on April 10 next year.

“We have already achieved success from ‘Lajja’ and now when everyone is looking up to the release of ‘Habaldar Suntali’, we have released the first look of the film,” producer Ojha said.
