Actress Rajesh Hamal does not believe in the social stereotype of only women shedding tears while men keep a heart of stone. Hamal, who was making his appearance in the ongoing Ncell Literature Festival, opined that the popular belief of men keeping a dry eye is fake. He said men should cry as they express their feelings.

Hamal not only sided with watery eyes men during his session in the festival but also supported on-screen skin show at a professionally acceptable level. ‘Actor flaunting six-packs in the movie and actresses shunning clothes for creative input should not be ostracized’, said the mega star of Nepali movies.

Hamal, whose session in the same festival last year, drew widespread popularity and criticism after he remarked that marriage is a ‘Showy’ relationship answered to a plethora of difficult questions from the audience. The actor, who himself tied knots with girlfriend Madhu Bhattarai recently, defended his decision to marry by stressing he did not do it for hereditary continuation or killing old age loneliness.
