'Chiso Ashtray' in May

Film 'Chiso Ashtray' based on the story of the journey of becoming a city-dweller from a simple villager of youth is going to be released 28th May. The film is directed by Dinesh Palpali (Dins). Previously, he had directed 'Balkrishna Sam: The Untold Story' which successfully received many national as well as international awards. The film was selected for film festivals in Thailand, California, China, etc.

The director said that the movie will feature the story of a youth who starts living in a city. He added, "the character completely changes himself in the process of becoming a city-dweller. The film presents the struggles and hard works he does in the process of transforming himself."

Divya Dev has played the role of Madan who is the main cast of the movie. Similarly, Nikun Shreshtha, Nabin Lamsal, Sushil Raj Pandey, Rabin Tamang and Shristi Shrestha are the other casts of the movie. Divya Dev is a rising artist in the English and Nepali drama field. Likewise, Nabin had previously worked in Rahdani, Karkhana, etc. Additionally, Nikun Shrestha's work in Chadke and Jhigrana was also praised.

The film is made under the banner of Kangaroo Creation and Local Cinema. Likewise, it is presented by Maheshbabu Timilsina. Mahesh and Prabin Syangbo are the producers of the film. Dins is the story writer as well as musician in the movie. Similarly, Ujjwal Bastakoti is the cinematographer, Ujjwal Dhakal is the editor and Prashant Rasaili is the creative head. 

Moreover, Kala Sangraula has done the art direction of the movie where designing is done by French production designer Sonia Josserand Mercier. Similarly, Noble freaks have done the music in the movie. It is going to be distributed by Rich Entertainment and GGA Group inside the valley whereas by FD Company outside the valley.
