Rakshya Singh Rana Appointed As President of Film Director's Society

The election for Film Director Society has been held recently. Rakshya Singh Rana has been elected as the new president. She got one vote more than her opposition Suchitra Shrestha. The election was held at Film Development Board.

Her tenure will be of 3 years. She got a total of 45 votes while her opposition Suchitra got 44 votes in total. Likewise, other competitors Laxman Rijal and Shekhar Khanal got 19 and 3 votes respectively. Similarly, only 135 out of 217 people participated in the election.

Vice-President : Raju Adhikari and Rajendra Kumar Upreti
General Secretary: Janakdip Parajuli
Secretary : Arun Kumar Pradhan
Treasurer : Samundra Bhatta
Vice-Treasurer: Hari Silwal
Members: Kishor Bhandari, Dipak Oli, Raj Basnyat, Debendra Pandey, Nabin Awal, Thaman Singh Purja and Suresh Neupane
