'Global Nepali Film Award 2019' in USA

'Global Nepali Film Award 2019' is going to be organized. The organizers announced the fourth edition of 'Global Nepali Film Award' conducting a program at the capital. Previous three editions were successfully held in America.

The objective of the show is to promote, and award to deserving candidates who have made efforts for the betterment of the film industry. 

The event will be held at UC Theatre from 30 Nov to 01 Dec. It will start at 6 pm at the UC Theatre on 30th Nov. UC Theatre is a popular theatre in the USA where popular Hollywood artists perform. It is the first time any Nepali event is going to be held there.

The award show aims in promoting Nepali films, attracting foreign investors in the local industry and also promoting Visit Nepal 2020.

The organizer also announced that in the context of promoting visit Nepal 2020, 'Nepal Day Parade' will be conducted the next day of the award show which will be participated by the artists at Burkley city.

The official announcement of the show was done on Sunday which had participation of the presidents of Nepal Film Society Krishna Malla, Golden State Movie Maker Yagyalal Shrestha, legendary actor Nir Shah, the president of Film Artist's Association Rabindra Khadka, legendary actress Sharmila Malla, Mudu Kumar Shrestha of Global Film Award, chairman of Cultural Organization Tirtha Thapa, actor Shiva Shrestha, Bhuwan KC, Dhiren Shakya, etc.
