She is seen conducting awareness programmes regarding women empowerment. 

Recently, in an interview, she said, "every woman should sweep away their inner fear and start being powerful. This Dashain, I wish every woman get blessings of becoming more active and increase participation in social activities." She added that this year's Dashain, elders should give blessings to become more powerful like Goddess Durga who killed Mahisasur.
