'Film Journalist Association' Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Film Journalist Association celebrated its 20th anniversary on Tuesday by organizing a grand programme in the capital. Five journalists were rewarded for their huge contribution in this field. The programme was organized in the chairmanship of the president of Film Journalist Association Mr Sandip Sapkota and respected Minister Gokul Prasad Baskota (Ministry of Communication & Technology) was present as the chief guest in the programme.

'Film Journalist National Award 2017' was awarded to Naresh Bhattarai (Image FM) and Shyam Smrit (editor of Vision Sansar Dot Com). Likewise, Kuber Giri (Ratopati.com) and Sarada Thapa (ABC Television) were awarded with 'Film Journalist Award'. Similarly, Binod Pokhrel (Mero Film) was awarded with Film Journalist Encouragement Award.

Furthermore, the programme had participation of the president of Film Development Board Keshab Bhattarai, artists Bhuwan KC, Karishma Manadhar, Deepashree Niraula, Uttam KC, Kedar Ghimire, Ramesh Upreti, Salon Basnet, Nita Dhungana, Keki Adhikari, Benisha Hamal, Nirmal Sharma, Shobhit Basnet, producer Sunil Kumar Thapa, distributor Gopal Kaji Kayastha, Gobind Shahi, director Pradip Bhattarai, singer Pratap Das and many others.
