Producer's Association & Film Association Welcomed President Bhattarai

Keshav Bhattarai who was appointed as the president of Film Development Board last friday completed his oath taking ceremony recently. He was wished and welcomed by Nepal Film Producer's Association and Film Association.

There was an unofficial program organized by Producer's Association followed by an official program organized by Film Association. President Bhattarai was welcomed by the president of Film Association Mr. Pradipkumar Udaye by honouring a garland and 'avir'. Similarly, the president of Producer's Association Mr. Akash Adhikari and other members also welcomed Mr. Bhattarai.

President Bhattarai said, "Producer's Association and Film Association are two major associations of Nepali Film Industry. So, I can be a bridge to connect both the associations smoothly." Similarly, he requested both the organizations to follow their moral ethics and work for the betterment of the movie industry.

Likewise, the president of Producer's Association Mr. Akash Adhikari disclosed that he is sure that the board will focus on development of standard of cinema halls and movie theatres. He added,"some films are shot in high quality but they are shown at low qualitites in some cineam halls because of the weak projection." He also said that more than 85 cinema halls have this problem.

Similarly, the president of Film Association Mr. Pradipkumar Udaya said that, "former presidents focused on only one organization so they had some problems and misunderstandings. The present president has the capacity to handle both the organizations smoothly.
