President Bhattarai Takes Oath

Keshav Bhattarai who was appointed as the president of Film Development Board last friday completed his oath taking ceremony yesterday. 

He disclosed that he will not act as a member of any party while he remains in the post. Many filmmakers were present in the program organized by the board on Monday to congratulate him. He delivered a sppech after his oath and said that he will always work for the welfare of the organization. He exclaimed that he will never go against the ethics of the organization. Similarly, he cleared that he will never misuse his power and intefere in the work of other organizations.

For now, he said his major objectives are to implement 'National Film Law 2071', desired box office, facilitated film studio in the valley, etc. Likewise, he has submitted 16 points action plan to the government and is waiting for response.
