"My aim was to be an actor": Pushpa

Pushpa Khadka, who started his career as a music video model, is currently a hot cake actor in the Nepali film industry. Talking about his present status, no directors would reject him in their films. Especially, his acting skills are quite liked by the audiences.

 

He has worked on films such as 'Ajhai Pani', 'Darpan Chhaya-2', 'Mangalam' and now 'Dal Bhat Tarkari', making him a renowned actor in the Nepali film industry. He is currently too busy because of his upcoming movie 'Dal Bhat Tarkari'.

His upcoming movie i.e Maha Sanchar's 'Dal Bhat Tarkari' has finished its shooting and started its promotion. A few days ago, song 'Visit Visama' from the movie was released which has been successful to maintain its position on the Youtube trending list 

Similarly, his another film 'Maruni' directed by Nawal Nepal is about to start its shoot. 'Dal Bhat Tarkari' will be released on April/May whereas 'Maruni' will be released on August/September.

He is involved in both music videos & films these days. So a reporter in a recently organized programme asked Pushpa whether to call him an actor or a model. He replied, "My aim was to be an actor for which I started modeling. So you can call me a model as well as an actor."
