The ‘Hami Uthne Chhau’ (We Will Rise Again) movement, which started after the 2015 earthquake in Nepal, has now got an institutional shape. The movement is now in the form of a foundation and the foundation organizes programs inside and outside the country to help and support the development of the country.

The foundation has recently come up with a ‘Mero Gau, Mero Thau’ (My Village, My Place) video challenge in collaboration with Nepal Tourism Board and other organizations. At a press meet organized in the capital on Friday, Bikash Rauniyar, President of the Foundation, said that, ‘There are thousands of villages in our country but they are still devoid of accessibility and basic facilities despite having a great prospect in tourism. This video challenge will help the villages gain exposure and required attention from concerned quarters’.
