Bandana breaks world record after 126 hour dance

Bandana Nepal, who recently announced that she was going to challenge the world record in dancing, has broken the record and written her name in the Guiness Book of World Records by continuously dancing for 126 hours.

She danced recently at the Big Foodland in Kathmandu to break the previous record of 123 hours and 15 minutes set by Kalamandalam Hemalatha of Kerala, India in 2016. The seventeen year old Bandana, who hails from Dhankuta, completed the marathon with only a few bruises on her feet. The dancer, who runs ‘B and B Culture Center’, a dance training institute, in Narayanthan, Kathmandu, was in fine condition after the ordeal.

She was provided with five minutes of drinking rest every hour during her record breaking feat. A large audience, including famous actors, were present during the event to cheer and support Bandana. Her dance was checked for record compliance by judges and the entire process was filmed with three cameras.
