Karnali Chief Minister Shahi says 'Malika' is a Must Watch

The charity show of upcoming film ‘Malika’, which started from Dhading on Tuesday, has reached Karnali. The Chief Minister of Karnali, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, watched ‘Malika’ on Thursday with the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the Birendranagar Municipality and said that this is a must watch film for everyone.

‘I liked the movie a lot. It must be watched by everybody, especially students and parents’, he said after watching the film. Other officials and people present at the charity show also echoed his words. The film, which is made on the subject of child rape and sexual violence against women, has got great reviews from charity shows in Dhading, Dhankuta, Kathmandu and Karnali. The film is directed by actress Rekha Thapa, who is featuring in the movie alongside newcomer Kamala Oli.
