Posters of Rekha Thapa's 'Malika' unveiled

Four posters of Rekha Thapa’s upcoming directorial venture ‘Malika’ has been released. The posters feature Rekha Thapa and new actress Kamala Oli and displays them in angry, sad and married looks. ‘Malika’ is based upon the subject of rape and sexual violence against women and children.

Rekha is known for opting with female leads in her films and she is introducing Kamala, a girl from Western Nepal who had not even seen a television in her life previously, as a lead actress with ‘Malika’.

Nara Bahadur Karki, Arju Dhungana, Kiran Thapa and Kopila Thapa are other actors in the film. The music for the film is composed by Suresh Adhikari and S.D. Yogi, Banish Shah is the editor, the story is written by Rekha Thapa and Nar Karki, and the script is written by Shivam Adhikari. Saraswati Thapa and Nar Karki are the film’s producers.
