Avoiding Box Office clash with 'Chakka Panja 3' proves good for 'Jay Bhole'

The decision to back off from a potential release clash with ‘Chakka Panja 3’ has proved to be a very wise decision for the team of recently released film ‘Jay Bhole’. There were weeks of speculations that the two movies were going to be released on the same day. ‘Jay Bhole’ director Ashok Sharma had previously stated that he was ready for the Box Office clash and had nothing to worry about since he maintained a good relation with cinema hall owners, thus guaranteeing him most showtime.

He decided to avoid the situation in the last moment and released his film a week after ‘Chakka Panja 3’, which released on the pre-scheduled date of October 10. Viewers thronged to the theatres in leaps and bounds to watch ‘Chakka Panja 3’, the third installment of the popular ‘Chakka Panja’ franchise. ‘Jay Bhole’ also did a good business in the subsequent week. ‘Chakka Panja’ is still going strong after a bumper first week but business has not been bad for ‘Jay Bhole’ either. It is, however, clear from the market signs that ‘Jay Bhole’ would have tanked had it not decided to avoid the clash.
