Is Basanta Sapkota using Jhakkad for his career?

Jhakkad sings new deuda song

Jhakkad Thapa and Basanta Sapkota are both famous persons. However the reason of their fame is totally different. Jhakkad Thapa went viral after his hilarious performance in singing competition ‘Nepal Idol’, where he made the entire country laugh with his horrific singing. Basanta Sapkota is a well known musician who has given music to dozens of hit song.

Jhakkad’s popularity is such that he has featured in many recent songs and TV shows. Those who have given him a chance despite his limited talents say that they are doing it help Jhakkad, who has a pitiful financial situation. Veteran musician Sapkota has also jumped into the Jhakkad bandwagon and given him the chance to sing a song titled ‘Bheri Seti’. The lyrics of the song is written by Dinesh Thapaliya.

The song is in Deuda beats of far Western Nepal and Sapkota says that he is also trying to help Jhakkad with his latest effort. There are also allegations that Sapkota is using Jhakkad to revive his flailing career, which is facing stiff competition from  younger composers.
