Nepali Film Development Board Rajkumar Rai has declared that if the censor board has instructed to cut down the scenes or mute some offensive word and the director of the movie does not obey the order then the movie will be halted to be screened at various multiplexes. He declared this statement on a press meet which was held in the capital. 

 

He said, “The certificate that has been provided by the Censor Board of Nepal has clearly stated what should be cut down and muted. Despite this, the movie are being screened without any cut downs. From now on wards if the command is not obeyed the movie will be stopped to be screened at the theaters.” Nevertheless, he has also informed that the censor board of Nepal should be flexible in terms of the modern film. He has planned to organize a program with the collaboration of Nepal film Development Board and Censor Board of Nepal. Chairman Rai has also informed that the movies which has recently been released has the followed the order given by the censor board. Currently, the movies “Hostel Returns”, “Resham Fi-Li-Li” and “Bhairav” has been released.
