Actor and director Akash Adhikari has been elected unopposed as the new President of Film Producers’ Association. In Associations’ 14^th general meeting and an election convention held after the meeting, Akash went unchallenged for the election.

Producers Govinda Shahi and Madhav Wagle also got elected unopposed as the new Vice Presidents of the Association.  Producer Roj Rana was the unanimous choice for the post of General Secretary. Producer Keshav Bhattarai will be brought as the Senior Vice President. The legislation of the Association has been amended and the Senior Vice President position has been added.Sushil Pokharel will be the new Treasurer of the association while Chabi Raj Ojha will be the new Secretary.  Similarly, according to the new legislation, there will be 11 members in the association. 

Karishma Manandhar, Rohit Adhikari, Arjun Kumar, Nikita Poudel, Dpendra K Khanal, Bhanu Pratap, Deepak Raj Giri, Chetan Sapkota and Raunak Bikram Kandel have been elected as the members of the Association.  After the legislation amendment, Nishchal Basnet and Sushant Shrestha will be brought as members and the working committee will select two more members.

The main agenda of the new committee will the successful establishment o the box office system. With the victory of this team, a new hope for the betterment of the film industry has been flowing all over.
