The premier of Rambabu Gurung’s third film ‘Purano Dunga’ has been held at Jai Nepal Hall in the capital city. Gurung had earlier directed hit films like ‘Kabaddi’ and ‘Kabaddi Kabaddi’.

The premier was attended by people from the film industry, journalists and professionals from other circles of life.  The gala premier was attended by the main leads of the film Dayahang Rai, Maotse Gurung, and Menuka Pradhan. Priyanka Karki, the other lead actor of the film, couldn’t attend the premier because she is currently in London.  Other actors Aryan Sigdel, Keki Adhikari, Benisha Hamal, Pooja Sharma and Barsha Raut were also seen in the premier.

However, the reviews of the film are not very much encouraging. Most of the audiences in the premier said that the film is nowhere close to Rambabu’s earlier films. They said that the film is not able to generate any kind of emotions.

Maotse Gurung and Menuka Pradhan, however, were appreciated for their performances.
