Actor Pradeep Khadka, who had made a successful debut with ‘Premgeet’ last year, was approached for the sequel of Darpanchhaya, one of the most loved Nepali films ever. But according to reports, the newbie actor refused to do the film telling that there will be no freshness in the film of a veteran director like Tulsi Ghimire.

In an event held in the Capital, director Ghimire agreed that he had offered the film to Pradeep. But when asked about the refusal from the actor, Tulsi reluctantly said that he never came into contact after the proposal. He said that he had even considered Anmol Kc for the same role, but backed out because of the differences in their working styles.

Director Ghimire even said that the lead actor of the film Puspa Khadka was finalized after a long wait of more than a week.
