No matter how much beautiful our former Miss Nepals are their filmy career has not been equally rosy. Most of the films starring former Miss Nepals have not been able to do wonders in the box office. ‘Gajalu’ which had former Miss Nepal Shristi Shrestha in the lead role, was a hit. But the success of the film is credited to the stardom of Anmol KC.

Malina Joshi, another former Miss Nepal’s career is also is on a risky mode. With another unsuccessful film in the form of the latest release ‘Jhumkee’, her career has been highly affected. Her first film ‘Ritu’ was a major flop whereas another film ‘The Winner’ is waiting for its release.

‘Jhumkee’, which was released last Friday, has failed to draw the audiences to cinema halls.  From single screen to multiplexes, the number of audiences has not been much encouraging. Despite bosting successful actors like Dayahang Rai and Reeshma Gurung in the lead roles, the film has failed to impress.  With another flop, not only Malina’s career has been challenged, but director Apil Bista has also received a major career bump.
