Dayahang’s Laltin poster ‘hugely inspired’ by an English film poster

Nepali Film Industry has been time and again alleged of copying scripts, songs and choreography sequences from foreign films, be it Hollywood, Bollywood or Korean films.
Though such news were getting relatively less space lately, a newly released poster from film ‘Laltin’ has again added fuel to the fire. The poster of the film has been copied from 2008 American political action thriller, ‘Vintage Point’, directed by Pete Travish.
As soon as the poster is released, the film unit has been facing a lot of criticisms. Even the people related to the industry are expressing their shock regarding the issue. The people related to the film are yet to speak anything in their defense.
‘Laltin’ has been directed by Dev Kumar Shrestha and stars Dayahang Rai, Priynka Kakri, Keki Adhikari, Arjun Gurung and Janak Bartaula among others in the lead roles. The film has been presented by Bhanu Pratap and produced by Anim Shrestha and Raj KC along with Manoj Rajbhandri and Deepak Shrestha.
