The movie ‘Ghampani’ has been announced in a function in the capital city today. The film, which will star Dayahang Rai and Keki Adhikari, will focus on inter caste marriage, its challenges and the struggle of the couple against it. Rai and Adhikari will play a role of a Tamang boy and a Brahmin girl respectively in the movie.

In the event organized to mark the announcement of the movie, Adhikari said she fell in love with the story of the film and quickly agreed to be a part of it. Dayahang Rai said ‘The fact that I knew Dipendra Lama, the director of the film, since a long time added to the ease in decision making apart from the fact that story was brilliant’. He added that he was extremely happy to be a part of this movie. The shooting of the movie is scheduled to begin next month.
