Bollywood celebs and Hindi film music industry turned out in full force to bid adieu to their favourite music composer Aadesh Shrivastava who breathed his last at 12.30 am after putting up a spirited fight against blood cancer for 45 days. The late composer’s body was kept inside his building compound for his friends and well-wishers to pay their last respects. The who’s who of the music industry from Sonu Nigam to Pandit Jasraj rushed to the late singer’s residence to pay their condolences to the Shrivastava family. 

Heart-wrenching scenes were witnessed as Aadesh’s wife Vijeta, sons Avitesh and Anivesh wept inconsolably. Actress Ayesha Jhulka, singer Sonu Nigam and wife Madhurima and Lalit Pandit became their pillars of strength in the time of grief.

adesh’s body was taken to the crematorium post 1 pm where the last rites were done by his son Avitesh. Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, who had earlier dedicated a blog post to Aadesh Shrivastava, visited the family at the crematorium and spent 10 minutes praying for the departed soul
