Nepali actor Sunil Thapa has received Life Time Achievement Award in "Festival of Global" that is being held in United States of America.Thapa received the award in San Francisco. Receiving the award Thapa said dedicated the award to Nepal and Nepalese people. Actor Thapa wore Nepali Daura, Suruwal and Topi in the event.

Actress Keki Adhikari and Nandita KC were also present on the occasion. Nepali artists presented cultural show during the event. Thapa received the award in San Francisco. Thapa was one of the five recipients of the lifetime achievement award in the Festival, along with Hollywood-Chinese actor Jackie Chan, Hollywood renowned actor Martin Sin, Bollywood musician and singer Bappi Lahiri and a Vietnamese actress.

Actor Thapa, who forayed into Nepali film industry after acting in numerous Bollywood movies and soon becoming the synonymous face of ‘villains’ in Kollywood, was honored for his outstanding contribution in the Nepali film industry.
