The movies which were halted for its release after the massive earthquake are slowly and steadily scheduling to get released now. However, it is necessary to analyze how beneficial the release date of the movies are. 

In Dashain, three movies are going to be in competition with each other. Rekha Thapa film “Ram Pyari” which was scheduled to get release during the Dashain has been postponed whereas Sudarshan Thapa directed movie “Chanke Shanke Phanke” will be releasing on that particular date. Nevertheless, the film was scheduled to be released on May. Similarly with the release of the movie, “Chanke Shanke Phanke” another movie “Adhakkati” directed by Pradeep Kumar Uday is also set to be released on the same date. This movie was also scheduled to get released on May. After the massive tremor the release date of these both movies were postponed. The movie “Prawash” which co-stars Prashant Tamag in the lead role is all set to get released on Dashain. The movie “Chanke Shanke Phanke” is produced by Santosh Sen and the movie is based on the situation of our country which co-stars director Thapa, Subash Thapa and Puja Sharma in the lead roles. Likewise, media personality Subrath Acharya directed movie “Adhakkati” is a dark comedy. The film stars Wilson Bikram Rai, Gaurav Pahari, Reesta Basnet, Deepak Bastola and Ashisma Nakarmi in the lead roles whereas the movie “Prawash” which is directed by Narayan Rayamajhi stars Prashant Tamang, Naren Khadka and Rajani K.C. in the lead roles. This movie is based on the story of a young person who goes abroad.
