New elected chairman of the Nepal Film Development Board Rajkumar Rai has expressed that receiving salutation from people is not only my job. In a program he stated that he will work for the development of our Nepal Film Development Board. 

The musician organization organized a program for newly elected chairman on Sunday and on that very program Raj Kumar Rai said, “Receiving salutation from people is not only my job. Let’s think of a strategy to flourish our Nepali film business”. He also articulated that his first priority is to prosper film distribution, promotion and market. Likewise, he also gave an example of his two movies “Producer” and “One Way” which was presented under his own banner and the business investment of that movies did not reimburse. He said, “We cannot make everyone happy. If I gave priority to every people happiness then I don’t think I’ll be able to fulfill my responsibility towards my work. I’ll go beyond the mainstream. However, I’ll do what is best for Nepal Film Development Board. No one can stop me from doing the right thing”. 

Previously, Raj Kumari Rai was the member of the Nepal Film Development Board and now as a chairman many people has high expectations from him. Currently, the main challenge for him is to normalize box office and multiplexes.
