Because of the massive earthquake that took place on April 25th, many Nepali film date has been postponed. Likewise, actor Nikhil Upreti’s two film “Bhairav” and “Lootera” release date has been postponed. 

The film which is acted and directed by actor Nikhil Upreti is set to be released on August 28th 2015. Previously the film was set to be released on June 5th 2015. After a long-break actor Nikhil Upreti has come back to Nepali industry and his movie “Bhairav” has been the most awaited movie of this year. The film “Bhairav” also stars Anu Shah in the lead role. Corresponding, another movie of actor Nikhil Upreti’s “Lootera” is scheduled to be released during auspicious occasion of Deepawali. According to producer Gopal Kayastha the film “Lootera” will be released on November 11th 2015 in Kathmandu multiplexes and on November 13th 2015 it will be displayed in suburbs region. Producer Gopal Kayastha has informed that because of the tremor and destruction caused by it, they have decided to post-pone the release date of the movie. The film is directed by Daya Ram Dahal which co-stars Nisha Adhikari, Sabin Shrestha and Harshika Shrestha in the lead roles whereas actress Priyanka Karki has presented her item dance in this movie. The movie is the joint venture of Gopal Kayastha, Basanta Kumar Shrestha and Chiring Dorje Lama. Some portion of the movie are still to be filmed. 

Due to the massive earthquake many movie date has been postponed. Film “Hostel Return” is set to be released on June 19th 2015 whereas the movie “Chanke Shanke Phanke” is set to be released during Dashain.
