After another massive quake of 6.8 magnitude that took place on 12th may 2015 has frightened many people including Nepal Film Association who has requested to close down all the Cinema Hall for indefinite period. On Wednesday a meeting was held between officials of Nepal Film Association and has informed that the multiplexes should remain closed until further notice is published to open the multiplexes. The decision was made to close down all the theaters hall by tomorrow. 

“We have talked with other organization for the close down of the multiplexes”, said Gopal Kayastha. He further added, “No theater hall will be opened until further notice is published”. The first frightening earthquake of 7.8 magnitude struck on April 25th 2015 halted the film show. However, after two weeks they opened the theater hall but unfortunately after the massive quake on Tuesday the multiplexes remains close again. According to Nepal Film Association Cinema hall or multiplexes will remain close for indefinite period. 

There almost 200 multiplexes and among them, many theaters hall have been destroyed or damaged in capital city. Many upcoming movies release date, post-production has been postpone due to massive Nepalquake.
