A candle light vigil was organized by Nepali Filmmakers in the Pragya Pratisthan Bhawan yesterday marking 13th day of frightening earthquake. All the artists of Nepal held candle light vigil in the remembrance of all the earthquake victims and the people who lost their lives from the earthquake. The 7,802 people are dead according to the fact up to now by the impact of the devastating earthquake which occurred in April 25, 2015 on Saturday with the magnitude of 7.9. Praying for the well-being of people who are still in pain by the effect of the earthquake and wishing for resting in peace of those people soul who were dead.

Nepali artists made their presence to offer their condolence to earthquake victims. Actresses Karishma Manadhar, Rekha Thapa, Jharna thapa, Ramesh Upreti, Dilip Rayamajhi, Namrata Shrestha, Keki Adhikari and others were present to offer the condolence. Likewise, Director Dinesh D.C., Akash Adhikari, Sabir Shrestha, Sudharshan Thapa, Suresh Darpan Pokharel and comedian artist Deepa Shree Niraula, Kiran K.C. Shiva Hari Poudel, Jeetu Nepal, Kedar Ghimire, Wilson Bikram Rai and others were also present in the candle light vigil.  Along with actors, actress, directors and filmmakers, musician and singers Komal Oli, Anada Karki, Indira Joshi also participated in the program.

 

In the candlelight vigil, singer Komal Oli and Actrss Karishma Manandhar talked about the massive earthquake that took place and the preventive measures to avoid further loss in earthquake. Correspondingly, Nepali artist and filmmakers are aiding and providing relief materials and fund to earthquake victims.
