Actor Lee Min Ho, IU and Song Il Gook are among the k-celebs that have reached out to help the victims of the earthquake in Nepal. Each of these celebrities has donated approximately $92,000 toward victim relief charities. The earthquake, which happened on April 25, killed 7,000 people, injured twice as many and left hundreds of thousands of people homeless.

IU made her donation to the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation on Children's Day, a Korean holiday, which celebrates the blessing of children. Observed on May 5, Children's Day usually features special activities for children and many children receive gifts. The actress, soon to be seen in the drama "Producer" was moved by the stories of the children left homeless by the earthquake. The stories seemed all the sadder with the approach of Children's Day as Nepalese children would have no way to celebrate such a day.

Actor and "Superman Is Back" regular Song Il Gook also donated $92,000 to Green Umbrealla Children's Foundation to help the child victims of the Nepal earthquake and other child-related causes.
