Highway To Dhampus is a movie made by producer John de Blas Williams and director Rick McFarland. Along with the American actor, Gunner Wright, who has previously worked in movies like, ‘Love’ and ‘Dead Space”, Nepalese movie star, Raj Ballav Koirala will also be seen sharing space in the movie.The tagline of the film is We look at the sky, but we walk on the ground. 

Highway to Dhampus is the first feature-length film shot almost entirely in Nepal by an American crew. The film features many of Nepal's cultural highlights and will be the debut for a handful of Nepalese actors to an American audience. The film is scheduled to be released on June 12th 2015.

The movie tells us about  Laxmi, headmistress of a small orphanage in Nepal, is visited by a rich socialite attempting to fix her image through charitable acts, a chain of events is set in motion that affects everyone involved. Ajit, the western-savvy bush pilot, Colt, the American photojournalist and chaperone, and even Elizabeth, the spoiled British heiress, all discover their own reasons to ultimately change for the better.
