Nischal Basnet’s second film ‘Talakjung vs Tulke’ has a decent opening, according to a report given by the distribution company Popcorn. ‘The performance of the film is decent, especially at the multiplexes in comparison to single screens’, said Madhav Wagle of the distribution company.

‘The occupancy at multiplexes is nearly cent percent, however the single screens have seen a relatively lower number of audience’, added Wagle, while also admitting that the business has been a little below par in relation to the pre-release hype.

‘Today’s business is satisfactory because the business usually sees a rise on Saturday and we are counting on it’, said Wagle.

Released in 21 screens in the Capital, the movie will go on floor outside the Capital in a Week’s time. After the revolutionizing success of his debut film Loot, this is Director Basnet’s second movie.

Khagendra Lamichhane, Richa Sharma, Dayahang Rai, and Sushank Mainali are among the lead roles in the Rabindra Singh Baniya production. Lamichhane is also the writer of the movie that features a conflict era character ‘Tulke’ and his attempts in establishing himself in the society.
